| Media Notes | She was born on March 17, 1945 in Solem, Minnesota to parents Melvin and Dorothy Engquist. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Before retiring she was a successful business owner and realtor. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James “Jim” Neuberger, and nephew Derrick Marlow. Jan is survived by her daughter, Tanya Endsley and husband Guy of Liberty Hill, Texas; granddaughters, Lauren and Morgan Endsley both of Liberty Hill, Texas; sisters, Shirley Edralin and husband Leo of Cedar Park, Texas, Carol Marlow of Winterhaven, Florida and Roxanne Malik and husband John of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; brothers, Steven Engquist of Nowthen, Minnesota and Mark Engquist of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; step-mother, Sandi Engquist of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; and close family friend, Shirley Rotter of Georgetown, Texas. A memorial service to celebrate Jan’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 16, 2013 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Chaplain Emma Jane Conley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers, Attn: Lisa McCoy, 6701 Fannin Suite 1510, Houston, Texas 77030.
