Obituary Richard Maehr

Richard Maehr, 87, of Crestview, Fl, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 surrounded by his family.

He was born February 7, 1924 in Davenport, Iowa, to Eva and Arno Maehr. He was a longtime resident and business owner in Davenport, Iowa before retiring to Texas and Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by Helen, his wife of 62 years, and his sister, Betty Keen.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Judy White of Crestview, brother Thomas Maehr and wife JoAnn of Coal Valley, Ill., grandsons Christopher Ehrmann of Austin, Texas and Daniel Ehrmann and wife Roxie of Aloha, Oregon; grandchildren Bradley and Ashley Ehrmann of Seattle, Washington, Gabriel and Vanden Ehrmann of Aloha, Oregon, and also survived by two cousins and their children and numerous nieces and nephews.

At the family’s request there will be no local services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
