Obituary Frank Maehr Jr.
Services for Frank Maehr, 93, of 1001 Slavens Manor, will be 11:30 a.m. today at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation is 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. today.
He died Thursday at Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island.
He owned and operated the former Maehr Cafe, Davenport. He also owned a turkey farm in Andalusia, Ill., and a catering service in New York. Before retirement, he worked at Central Engineering Co., Davenport.
Mr. Maehr married Pauline Moeller in 1969 in Perry, Iowa.
He was a Army veteran of World War I.
His hobby was fishing.
Memorials may be made to American Heart association.
Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Sue Decker, Davenport; and a stepson, John Moeller, Marion, Iowa.
